“Jason came out and diagnosed my main issue and fixed a number of other issues I was having. Prices are very fair. Will definitely be using him in the future. Thank you Jason!”

Mobile RV Service at Lake Whitney State Park and Across Hill County

Whitney is where we dispatch from, so this is home ground.

We service Lake Whitney State Park, Lake Whitney RV Campground and Whitney Ridge Resort on site. The state park covers 775 acres on the lake's east shore and has been open since 1965, with sites ranging from water-only through 50-amp water and electric to full hookup with sewer, plus dump stations inside the park. Lake Whitney RV Campground spreads across more than 450 acres with roughly 250 sites, many naturally shaded.

That mix produces genuinely different work. A 50-amp full-hookup site tends toward electrical and climate-control faults under sustained summer load. A water-only site pushes owners closer to the edge of their fresh water, pump and holding-tank capacity, and that is where those problems start.

Lake Whitney also runs long. TX-22 crosses it, and the shoreline stretches far enough that two sites on the same lake can be a real drive apart. Being based here is the practical advantage — a truck heading to the lake is not starting an hour away, which is the difference between same-day and next-week.

Campground pad, ramp lot, storage yard or driveway: the equipment travels to the rig.

Whitney also has the densest concentration of RV infrastructure anywhere in our footprint, which is part of why we are based here. Thousand Trails Lake Whitney runs 408 acres and about 250 sites. Whitney Ridge Resort holds more than 90 full-hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp service and a full marina. The Palms at Lake Whitney sits roughly a mile from downtown. Between them the lake supports everything from a weekend stay to a rig that has not moved in a year, and the two ends of that range fail in completely different ways.

Answers to your questions

RV service in Whitney — common questions

Practical answers about getting a rig serviced in and around Whitney. If yours is not here, call or text (254) 580-3929.

You are based in Whitney — does that mean quicker service here?

Whitney is our home ground, so it is the shortest run we make. That usually means more flexibility on timing rather than a different service; the truck carries the same diagnostic equipment wherever it goes.

Do you service Lake Whitney State Park and the resorts around the lake?

Yes. We work at Lake Whitney State Park, Lake Whitney RV Campground and Whitney Ridge Resort, on site at your pad.

My rig has been in storage near the lake since last season. Where should I start?

A pre-trip inspection. Stored rigs fail differently to traveled ones — dried seals, sulfated batteries, untested propane and rodent damage in wiring and ductwork. All of it is cheap to find in the storage yard and expensive to find on the road.
